On 8th February 2016, Melissa commenced her employment with Byron Capital in the position of Administration Assistant Part-time Bookkeeper.
Her position requires an understanding of the financial aspect of the business including the processing of client fees and commissions, creditors, payroll as well as financial and statistical reporting.
She is a very important part of the Byron Capital team organising travel for Partners and also the maintenance of the office equipment and building.
Melissa’s previous experience has predominately been within the accounting industry and consisted of general administration, reception and also bookkeeping duties. Her experience with MYOB has been helpful with our own implementation of MYOB AccountRight an online accounting software system.
Melissa has completed Certificate IV in Bookkeeping through South West Qld TAFE.
